Coffey Gets Stamp of Approval

LARAMIE, WY – Coffey Engineering & Surveying, LLC (Coffey), announces the addition of Timothy Stamp to the company as its new Business Development Director. 
Coffey is a civil engineering, land surveying and GIS consulting firm serving all of Wyoming,
Northern Colorado and surrounding states.
 
Stamp is responsible for implementing Coffey’s business growth plan by identifying and engaging business prospects through effective marketing, networking, lead generation and formal proposal writing. Stamp will create and manage strategic partnerships and alliances with third-party companies, as well as represent Coffey on a variety of professional boards and at various community events. 
 
As the former President of the Laramie Economic Development Corporation (1999 – 2007), former Community Development Officer for the City of Douglas (1992 – 1999), and past President and Board Member of the Wyoming Economic Developers Association (WEDA), Stamp brings more than 15 years of solid economic development experience and success to Coffey.  “Tim’s knowledge of the current business climate and his commitment to Wyoming is
unparalleled,” said Coffey CEO and Civil Engineer Dave Coffey. “This is a man who is known for bringing the right people together to create solutions that strengthen the economic vitality of our community. Stamp’s activities in the economic development arena also include the formation of the Converse Area New Development Organization (CANDO). CANDO is a public/private partnership to enhance job growth and economic diversification activities in the Douglas area. In addition, Stamp helped initially form the Northeast Wyoming Economic Development District that works with small communities in Northeast Wyoming on economic and community development projects.  “I’m fortunate to have been a part of these successful and collaborative programs, and I’ll use that valuable experience as the Business Development Director at Coffey Engineering & Surveying.” said Stamp. “Coffey is a Laramie-based business I’ve admired for many years – a business poised to do great things. Stamp was born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and attended the University of Northern Iowa and Hawkeye Institute of Technology where he majored in Graphic Arts, Publishing and Marketing. After more than 20 years working in his field of study, Stamp followed his true passion and began working with communities and local businesses to help them grow, prosper and plan for the future. Stamp and his family have lived in Laramie for almost 10 years and in Wyoming for nearly 3 decades. Stamp is very active in an advisory capacity to several local companies, and he is dedicated to developing a strong entrepreneurial environment in Laramie.
